1. A sheet folder. Seriously, I need a machine to fold my fitted sheets. Or one of those cool boards from the Gap. Well, but bigger. How is it when I go to fold my sheet, it's magically grown to 3 times the original size? Are the folders for packaging origami experts?
2. Well this one is for Meijer shopping carts. How about a clipboard to put your list? I'd love to not carry my list and just clip it to the cart, mark off as I go!
Okay, fine, that's it for NOW, but I'll think of more!! Anyone else??

Do the mess, pay the price.....
So my 6 yr old LOVES playing on and collecting webkins.
Today we had plans to go on a short road trip, but the oldest male member of the family got sick, so we stayed home.
Apparently she needed to have school today instead....
Today's very "un Emma like" behaviors...
1. Sprayed about 3 gallons of cleaner on the kitchen table....it's Mrs. Meyer's and has quite the strong scent, plus you know how well 6 yr olds scrub so it left quite the streaks...
2. Emma asked to eat a hershey bar as a snack. NO problem. Then she asked for a 2nd (these were full sized). I said no. About 20 min later I found her sneaking one. To the bedroom my princess....
3. As I was going downstairs to let the dog out I smelled an unfamiliar (yet pleasant ) scent, it was VERY strong....She had gone into the bathroom and got out the spray sunscreen and sprayed it ALL over.
What happens then? Well you might slip and fall, cause it is SUPER slippery. Maybe she was preparing for some sort of sock races, not sure. I made her get paper towel slightly wet with water to clean our wood (okay laminate) floors so no one fell to their death.
4. While cleaning she starting to "sprinkle" water on the floor. I told her to NOT do this , and of course she didn't listen...
So what results from this poorly thought out day??
None of this:

Or this:

or this:

However, there will be lots of reading in her room......

Ewww...ick...ewww...
Seriously, wiggly front teeth are just plain gross.
I mean, as a kid I LOVE wiggling teeth, but seeing my own 6 yr old pushing her BIG front tooth straight out , ewwwwwwwww..
Just gross I say!

NOW I know!!
So I wondered why "Siouxsan says" just flowed into my mind as a title..
Here's why:
My husband was in a band back a few years ago and one song was "Beauty says". Great fun song, and reminds me of Siouxsan says!!
Besides I like to talk, A LOT!!

We hope she can...we hope she can.....
Seriously, what parent likes spending money on a 6 yr old (and a 3 yr for that matter) for nighttime pull ups?
At $17 a month for each kid, I'm ready to be done.
Here's what weird:
My 6 year old is a very deep sleeper. Yet there were 2 periods during her short life in which she didn't wet the bed. From about 2 1/2 to nearly 3, she was in underwear at night, no problems. Then when we moved to our new house, the wetting started again. Once she started full day Kindergarten, she stopped wetting the bed. Once late November came around, the wetting began again and has not stopped.
A good friend lent us a bedwetting alarm. I started her last night. I didn't sleep well at all, but she slept all night and was dry. Ahh..the small successes in life!
Tonight is day 2, we'll see how that works, and who wakes up!
Wish us luck, it's a long road ahead!
